Puffy jacket is definitely more economic option than flying south for the winter. When wearing down parka in the city remember to keep it in neutral colors, otherwise people could ask you for the prices of ski passes in Tirol. Bottom line of your parka has to extend bottom line of a sweater or blazer.
This is a Fall/ Winter variation of the Winthrop style, known from classic American films, pictures of students at the universities or photos of polish royalty in their estates. Our proposal is seasoned with modern spice, we have added a shawl collar to cable knit sweater and we replaced wool jacket with down. You can never go wrong with such combination.
